Global Buildings Performance Network
Impact Philanthropy supports regions and foundations to secure critical funding, which can be utilised to accelerate policy reform. We employ two strategies:

FOUNDATION SUPPORT
GBPN assists organisations to identify high impact venues and cross-sectoral opportunities to reform building performance. Through our resources and knowledge-base, we’re able to demonstrate the short and long-term benefits — across health, resilience, and sustainable economic development.
We identify potential local expert partners and work with them to ensure organisations are investment-ready, co-designing a program or project to achieve the donor’s goals. To increase the likelihood of funding GBPN incorporates project proposals into core grant applications.
We are also able to act as a deal-flow broker during conversations.
IMPACT PHILANTHROPY
GBPN is able to identify high-impact investment opportunities for impact philanthropy to accelerate the decarbonisation of the building sector. We do this by leveraging our global network, partnerships and in-depth knowledge of building policy.
We leverage opportunities to philanthropy by aligning programs with multi-lateral and bi-lateral aid and development programs. GBPN’s long-running access to important forums such as the UNFCCC COPs, G20, OECD, Global Alliance on Buildings and Construction, OECD and APEC provide global dissemination channels and forums for coordinating global strategies.
