Our Approach
At GBPN we bring the people together who can build change. We understand that policy reform requires a long-term commitment to a local market. It’s why we believe so strongly in our coalitions, working with governments to support, educate and facilitate sustainable building practices.
We do this by resourcing our global network of local experts and influencers. We learn from and engage with local experts, and we track related benefits such as health, jobs and economic development in order to improve policy design.
Built around a policy cycle our services tie into four phases — Planning, Adopt, Do and Learn:
We commence with a policy planning (Plan) with our methodologies adapted to fit local contexts.
Coalitions are formed to facilitate collaboration between policy influencers and to develop/endorse policy plan.
Technical Assistance by local experts is arranged to support policy adoption (Adopt) and implementation (Do).
The experience and insights generated through policy implementation programs is captured and shared via our global evidence base. Our evidence is collated into education resources for policy makers, influencers and building practitioners (Learn).
